Henderson Health Care Debuts Patient & Family Advisory Council

July 22, 2019

HENDERSON, Neb. – In a move to continue improving patient care, Henderson Health Care has launched their first ever campaign to form a Patient and Family Advisory Council.

You may be asking, “what is a patient and family advisor?”

A patient and family advisor is someone who wants to help improve the quality of care for all patients and family members of Henderson Health Care. This council will give feedback based on their own experiences as a patient or family member. Essentially acting as a voice for those who use our services. Partnering with doctors, nurses, and administrators, the goal of this council is to help HHC plan changes to continuously improve patient care.

On a volunteer basis, council members will participate in group discussions, review or help create educational or informational material, and help develop plans for short-term projects. With no more than 4 hours of your time per quarter, you could help HHC make a difference for patients and families.
