One of the most important things you can do for your health is establish a relationship with a primary care provider. Your family doctor helps you prevent illness, manage health conditions and make good decisions that foster healthy living. Primary care physicians may also refer you to specialists who can address more specific health needs
Henderson Health Care operates two full-service rural health clinics, Henderson Family Care and Sutton Family Practice. Both clinics are open full-time and staffed by our three providers on a rotating basis.
Services vary slightly between locations and generally include: primary care, urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics, child and adolescent care, women’s and men’s health, lab work, imaging, physical exams, flu shots, vaccinations and more.
“My husband and I were passing though on our way east to see family when my appendix ruptured. Luckily the hospital was a few miles away from our campground. The staff was very caring and attentive. I feel very fortunate that we were so close to this small, but wonderful hospital.”
