Mental Health
Henderson Health Care has added Mental Health to our growing list of specialty clinics. Sherry Kropatsch, APRN-FNP is a licensed family nurse practitioner with three years of experience in pain management and over two years of experience in Grand Island providing medication management for various mental health diagnoses to hundreds of patients locally and in surrounding communities. She recently relocated her practice, Mental Wellness, to facilitate growth and expansion of services to include medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
A native of Sutton, Nebraska, Kropatsch earned her Advanced Practice Registered Nurse degree from Clarkson College specializing in Family Practice. She understands that mental wellness can be an ongoing and difficult process for both the individual seeking help as well as their family members and friends. She serves each patient with compassion, dignity, and respect to help them and their loved ones overcome the challenges and restore healthy mental wellness.
Kropatsch’s mission: To provide prevention and recovery-oriented mental health and substance use services that are quality assured and person-centered, with increased attention to the “whole person”. Kropatsch is now serving patients at Henderson Health Care on the third Friday of each month.
Patient Feedback
“My husband and I were passing though on our way east to see family when my appendix ruptured. Luckily the hospital was a few miles away from our campground. The staff was very caring and attentive. I feel very fortunate that we were so close to this small, but wonderful hospital.”
