Henderson Health Care is pleased to welcome Samantha Pederson, PA-C, to its healthcare provider team. Samantha will begin seeing patients in late July, bringing her passion for preventative healthcare and family medicine back to the community she proudly calls home.
A native of Henderson, Nebraska, Samantha is excited to return to her hometown and serve the people and families who helped shape her journey. After graduating from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, she completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2020 and began practicing medicine with a focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Samantha is a board-certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is affiliated with professional organizations such as the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants (NAPA), Obesity Medicine Association (OMA).
“Throughout my training and career, I have always been drawn to family medicine because it allows me to care for patients through every stage of life,” said Pederson. “I enjoy helping individuals and families stay healthy through preventative care and building lasting relationships with my patients.”
In addition to her passion for family medicine, Samantha has developed a special interest in nutrition, weight loss, and obesity medicine. She enjoys helping patients achieve their health goals through education, lifestyle changes, and personalized treatment plans that support long-term wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband, Kole, and son, Jet, reading, sewing and traveling.
